The story of “Navy wedding || white studio || Keynote adrenaline rush”
Assalamualaikum all. I’m having a very bad sore throat this afternoon, but after taking some homeopathy medicines I feel better already.
A recent wedding I wanna share is about a navy officer. Hisyam was my junior in UiTM. We were in the same co-curriculum activity Kesatria. With uniforms and marching and everything a la military minus the weapons training. After graduating he went to work in the banking line. Now in Al-Rajhi Bank. Several years ago he enrolls in the Reserve Navy training programme and is now a Liutenant in the Navy.
When he approach me to photographs his wedding I’m so exited coz the only uniformed wedding I took was the police officer last December.
Shooting white uniformed officers under the bright and hot sunlight of Malaysia at noon is no easy feat. Thanks to the D90 I had, they manage to retain the textures of the clothings. And of course carefull setting during the shoot helps too.
Here are the pics:

Michelle & Yvonne came to the studio on Wednesday for some Diva transformation. Had only about 40 minutes for the shoot coz I’m kinda late for another appointment….so we rushed to get the shot. Here’s the best 7 from the session.
Start off with Michelle in casual wear
Move over to Yvonne
Adding more lights to make it a white room, a little costume change into evening wear
And lastly a duo picture
It was really fun, wished we had more time..heeeheee

During our weekly meeting of BNI United chapter, it’s time for me to present my long presentation. It used to be 10 minutes presentation (8 for your actual presentation + 2 for Q&A). After our members increased to 40+, the minutes were reduced to 8 minutes (6+2). I prepared my presentation using Keynote (A part of the iWORK 2009 software suite).

My door gift was a 45 mins free studio shoot. And it goes to Yio of Computer Troubleshooters

OUr chapter Mentor taking his best 50 seconds presentation for the day (“The Oscar”) from sister prudence. A michael jackson tribute that draw the most votes 🙂
I think I did good during my presentation. A well planned and well rehearsed 6 minutes (1st reahearsal with SF took 10 minutes). I talk about the company, it’s vision, experience & past projects, our target market & also samples of my best photos in weddings, events & portraits. To keep the talk fun, I peppered it with jokes 🙂
After the 2 minutes Q&A (which is very good coz about 4 questions were answered) I slumped in my chair, exhausted but very satisfied. Adrenaline rush over.
