The Story of “Eating out in KK”

Assalamualaikum all. last month I went to Kota Kinabalu to shoot a wedding there. It’s my fourt time in KK actually. The last was in 2009. My fond memory of KK revolve around its food. Without further’s what I eat during my trip…

Eating out in KK 001

Sayap-sayap or BBQ chicken wings are the best in KK. The chicken wings capital of the world 🙂 We eat at the night market behind Pasar Kraftangan (aka Pasar Phillipine). Only here you can get RM1.20 per wing.. I ate 10! hehehehe

The night market was quite big, with different sections selling fried food, chicken wings, BBQ seafood, fresh seafood, vegetables, fruits and drinks. The beef fried rice and seafood fried rice here is the bomb… it with chicken wings are even better.

Lotsa grilled seafood to be selected. The price is quite reasonable too. The squid on the right cost RM10. They come with Air asam..yum yum

The big lobster cost around RM70++, various fish cost from RM5~80 (depending on the type and size), prawns from RM10+ and lots more.

Wish I eat more…pity its only 2 nights there. Other notable food to be sampled includes Mee Bakso, ABC and Fresh coconut drink.
