The story of “Single shot KL”

Assalamualaikum all. No new story today, just an old shot taken in November. Up from the 8th floor of HSBC Tower in KL. You can see the big Banks on the right hand side of the picture, Masjid Jame’ KL on the lower right side, Menara Sultan Abdul Samad (Our national symbol before KLCC) & Dataran Merdeka on the left hand side & DBKL building right in the middle.

A little bit of Tech info

1/125s, f8.0, ISO 200, Nikon D700 with Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 taken at 17mm focal length

Minimum editing, Level, curve, shadow+highlight & sharpening.

Action used – Warm it up kris (for the warm feeling)

I’m not very good in doing HDR. Not that I do it on a daily basis. But for this picture, I just enhance the colour and bring back the details in the shadow & highlight. K.I.S.S. rule (Keep it simple stupid!)

I had the big 16″x24″ framed picture in the studio. And had no plan to put it on the blog. But Kukubesi came to the studio yesterday and loved the picture so much I had to put it here 🙂
