The story of “Comedy court, studio shoot & movies”
Assalamualaikum all. Selamat berpuasa to all my muslim readers. 4 days of fasting and I’m in the middle of accelerated work finishing task. Even during this fasting state of hunger and thirst, work must be done as usual.
Yesterday was quite a busy day. The comedy court duo of Allan & Indi came for a photoshoot session for their next stage performance. The official PC will be held tomorrow so I’m not gonna spoil the fun here…hehehe…1 1/2 hours with them will leave you in stitches, even posing for the camera, their funny aura will tickle you silly. Can’t wait for the new show to begin on 24th Sept (for around 2 weeks). Their website is HERE
Shooting professionals like them is a breeze, coz they already know what they want. I just have to setup the lights and fire away.
A baby boy was born yesterday, I had to dash to SJMC in Subang Jaya to shoot him and the family. I’ll save the other pics for another update later.
Last week, 3 of my BNI United members came to my studio. After our little meeting, we had fun with a 1Malaysia theme….hahaha, coz BJ is Malay, Tharma is Indian & Steven Chang is Chinese.
Mr Budiman Jaafar @ BJ from licence2halal.com
Mr Tharma representing OAC & Great Eastern Insurance
Mr Steven Chang from LPV Contructions
In the past 2 weeks, I’ve watched 3 movies…at the cinema.
#1 G.I. Joe —> eye candy (the hot chicks, CGI & weaponry), not much substance.
#2 District 9 —-> 8/10, superb acting, excellent CGI, the aliens looks so real, marvellous alien
weaponry, and the ending is not typical. See it before the run ends.
#3 Up —–> 9/10, superb production from Pixar. The first 20 minutes can induce tears (even in me)
I went to see the 2D version (extra RM2 but the quality is better than the normal version)
The 3D version is better but more expensive at RM17. Read about how critics rave about UP HERE
