The story of “Asiah & Aizat Nikah & Sanding”

Assalamualaikum all. Wedding updates are long overdue. Sorry to my clients about this. But since I’ve given them the picture CD kira Ok lah.

Asiah & Aizat were married in a simple ceremony at a mosque near Asiah’s family home in Banting, Selangor. The ceremony was done after Friday prayers (around 3pm). Asiah’s family is quite big (she’s number 4 out of 7 siblings if I’m not mistaken) but it is impossible to get all of them in 1 piccies. As typical of a kampung wedding, everyone had their own tasks. be it cooking, greeting guest, serving food etc etc. But I had fun experimenting a bit with lighting and with my new D90. Thanks to Nazir for assisting.

The Bersanding ceremony was held 2 days later (sunday) at the family house. Since her family are of Javanese descent, typical Javanese cuisine are served. This includes, tempe goreng, sambal sotong & pecal. All of them are delish! And they cook it together with the neighbours & relatives. The spirit of togetherness lives on even to this day. After the ceremony, we went to Pantai Kelanang (Near Banting & Morib Beach). It was really hot and the sun is shining so brightly even at around 5pm.

The couple are good sport. They pose and smile even though it is quite hard and the eyes tend to squint under such bright lights! thanks a lot guys for making my work easy. Some of my fav piccies from the day are:
