The story of “Bengkel Asas Fotografi DSLR”

Assalamualaikum all. Yesterday I spend my day in KL, assisting my friend, fellow photographer & sifu, Didiz from Fotokahwin.com teaching a group of beginner photographers the basics of photography using a DSLR. Its actually a 2 day course organized by Positive Event Sdn Bhd. They were taught the basics in operating a DSLR, camera setting, composition, a bit on posing, lighting, using flash and the difference between various lenses available in the market. 36 participants from various government agencies took part. Me and Salleh (Mat Leh) were Didiz’s assistant in the workshop.

Shoot the students using Mat Leh’s 85mm f1.4 at 1.4 using my D90. Yummy bokeh!

It’s me as the model to show how to use available light.

Using my new 24mm f1.8 is a breeze. Superb bokeh produced by it. Athir in one of his bad mood swing

All about line, line & line

This is my own Picture of the day! He was sitting there, using my 24mm, I quickly baring on the floor and shoot him from a low angle, no posing required 🙂

By the way, the workshop is held at Grand Seasons Hotel in Jalan Pahang, KL

Tgh cari bengkel fotografi weekends.. and tak makan hari kerja, tapi xjumpe2 lagi..
tgh jugak cari dslr kamera… tak tau nak beli yang mana…

Orang kata beli dslr ikut keperluan, tapi kalau saya kata saya nak jadi wedding photographer freelance, adakah melampau dan tamak haloba kalau saya terus beli yang power2 tapi basic dslar pun tahu sikit sangat…?

Oklah, kalu bajet saya 3 ribu++ jer…

Class!

alangtengahbirukundang : Banyak je kelas2 pada weekend. Boleh search Fototeacher.com for classes. Kamera power tp skill x power x guna juga. Passion juga penting. Setakat dari mula fikir nak buat duit riban riban je baik takyah buat. It took a lot of effort, time, money and trial & error.

Didiz: My pleasure. mengajar juga salah satu cara belajar. Elok untuk brush up basics aku sendiri. Gambar Athir nnt aku emailkan.

Shaiful: Hehehe..jangan la puji lebih lebih..heheh

bza: kau xyah join dah..you know already…belanja aku makan I will teach you..tapi kena Manhattan Fish Market lah…Platter for 2 as the pengeras..heheheh
