The story of “Shooting marathon & my KK trip”

Assalamualaikum all. Sorry for the gap in updating the blog. Tons of pics tapi tak sempat nak edit. Here are some updates that I managed to edit while waiting to go to the airport. Me and Hafiz Ismail from Wow Phto is going to Kota Kinabalu for 4 days. Our itinerary includes visiting our master/teacher Louis Pang, chilling at Manukan Island and at the Kinabalu highlands. And also I must eat at Tanjung Aru, The fruit juice, Mee Bakso & BBQ chicken wings are to die for!

My first indian wedding shoot. Tag with Asha. The couple is Dev & Thiru and the location is at PJ (near Assunta Hospital).

Then I shoot Kong & Ikin at Cheras. This is a CLS shot set up beside the pelamin coz at 4pm rain falls heavily. We had to postpone the post wedding shoot.

03

The newest wedding shot was for Ayza & Faisal at Dewan Perdana Felda last Saturday. It’s a double wedding that I shoot under Wow Photo with Hafiz Ismail.

When I finish with the editings, I’ll post some more ok.

Yesterday was a really inspiring. Me and Hafiz (with Nazir tagging along) shoots Irwin & Vanessa’s pre-wedding session. Irwin is a fellow classmate during Louis Pang’s From Ordinary to Extraordinary workshop while Vanessa was the model. They’re getting married in July. So we offered to shoot them from a malay wedding photographer’s perspective. 3 costume change, numerous make up retouch & about 7 locations. Both of us keeps challenging each other to get the money shot. Here are some that I wanna show (lightly edited with Photoshop). Btw, the fab makeup is done by Lee Kuen from http://www.bridal-glam.com

Tired, sweaty and smelly. But definitely satisfied with the outcome of the shoot.

It’s 3.46am and I haven’t sleep since yesterday morning…gonna go to the airport in about 1/2 hour. Me and Hafiz gonna stay a night at the Rose Garden in the Kinabalu highlands and the back to KK for 3 days. We so deserve the holiday after a very hectic and tiring March. See you guys later!
